It's also a real pain to have to carefully skirt around a table which doesn't really fit inside the room you're eating in.

We can come up with lots of practical solutions and beautiful designs to help you choose exactly the right furniture for your dining room. It will fit properly, and your seating will be comfortable, enough to enhance your dining experience.

Tradition

Wonderfully built traditional dining tables are available from us. The most common designs are classic Regency and Victorian style mahogany or yew wood tables, with legs or pedestals and seperate leaves, or rugged country style solid oak and cherry tables.

I say common, but our Regency style tables could not be slotted into the ordinary category, and would not be classed as reproduction furniture, rather as antique replicas of the classics from that era. They are constructed using the most beautiful veneers, including flame and crotch mahogany, and the pedestals are hand carved from solid woods. There are many of our beautiful tables gracing the Foreign and Commonwealth Offices of British Embassies worldwide, and are fit for Ambassador's homes.

The same counts for our country style tables. They're built using responsibly farmed solid woods, and the tops are commonly 40-50 mm (2") thick. They're built using classic designs, but can also be made to any shape and size.

Modern

Modern and contemporary style tables are made utilising innovative design and built using traditional and modern methods of carpentry to produce the most incredible pieces of furniture.

This can go from using glass, mirrors, metal and lighting which can be incorporated into designs, to using the most interesting and exciting cuts of veneers or solid woods.
